how do i resize my pics to fit here from iphoto on mac?

hello, i'm new here. I have a macbook pro and it will not let me take pics from i photo and put them here for my rides and or profile pics? anyone know how to resize them on a mac so i can submit them with the proper kb size. says i cant exceed 2500 killobites and my pics i guess are more then that
