They have disclaimers each time you try to use a third party app. Yeah FB gets a lot of shit for their privacy sometimes, but hey if you don't like what they do, don't use it. Free country. DGAF

The point is to have you real name accessible so that friends and family can find you.
And from that point you can control what level of privacy you desire.

What's the point of even having an online profile anywhere if all your info is fake?

If I was into talking to avatars I would be playing computer games instead of writing on forums.

people can find me through friends and family... i don't really want long lost strangers to find me easily. either way... when you give your personal information to a business... expect them to abuse it.

Why are people suddenly so interested in being found?

When I had a MS or FB account, everyone I had as friends already knew my name & number... it was never about strangers, or long lost people finding me... I always thought that intriguing, but to each their own..

I could see have info online if you have a business... other than that... why?

it's a fun way to connect with people

i've been reunited with long lost cousins i hadn't seen in many years for instance, i thought that was kind of cool

it's fun for uploading pics and whatnot from my phone wherever i'm at as well

there are some annoying aspects but there are some really cool aspects of it too, really depends how you're using it i suppose

as far as the privacy, i really dgaf

as far as "it's for sheeple" well whatever, dgaf about that also, gives me a good laugh to hear though as it really doesn't make any sense in my brain for someone to make that statement, we could say internet in general is for sheeple as well.....oh shit man, you breath oxygen? you're just sheeple then man! haha

Do you want to meet? I even went on a ride last night... you gonna be at the art show?

As I said its not about not being "known", its about not having photos online.

Ill give you an example... when I had a social network account, i had photos... i thought the same about sharing photos with friends and the like... but somehow you always get weirdos and shit... and none of your online material is really protected... I would get crazy comments about my kid and THAT creeped me out.

I took it all down and really never looked back...

All you guys ever ask is: who are you? Fuck, Im still trying to figure that out.. what do you really want to know

for the record...
so its not so creepy... since i posted recently, and people keep asking who i am....i introduced my self to Roadblock on a commute home not to long ago... i just thought id let him know who i was since, im my mind... this is really his site...

I dont think people really want to "know" me... do you really care about who i am, what im about, where ive been, where i going, my problems, what i can do for you and vice versa?

Shit if we meet, i guarantee we'll be cool... Roadblock wasnt too impressed, and I doubt you will be either.

My photos are online.
You know what I look like.
Short, fat, long beard, gap between front teeth, sometimes wears blonde wig, has foreign accent.

I stick out. Esp my pot belly.
So yeah. Come and say HAI.

Until then for all I know md2 is a midget transexual hooker in Islamabad wearing a burka plugging away from some internet cafe.

And I have nothing against midget transexual hookers from Islamabad but the burka is def a turn off. Show some skin md2. I usually show up on Friday social rides.

Facebook Privacy is an oxymoron. I don't put anything up there that I don't want to be public knowledge.

As far as those aps ... I avoid them at all costs. The only one I tried was whack anyway.

Ahhhh... yes, your photos are online, so I know what you "looked" "like" at that moment... but do I know you? But does it tell me -- "who you are"?

Or would my request to see your photo (if you did not post it) be a cheap attempt to delve into what may be the very unique thing that "you are"? Hence, I dont care about your photos, or "about me" columns. I tend to think people are more than that... why suppose Ive learned something? Is that what youre years of existence, failures and successes have amounted to? A photo and synopsis?

I think theres something special is not knowing. You call it creepy... to each his own

You know if MR ever really reaches to the point of getting midget transexual hookers from Islamabad to contribute on MR forums, that will be the day, all the bitching and moaning about forum life really mattered.

I suppose that if you really don't like me you can perhaps find me and murder me. But as far as business is concerned I'm no good...I don't have any money to spend on their products. Ya know?
