hey mates just moved down to LA from Oregon i mountain bike and i was just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some downhill or freeride i would greatly appreciate it thnx

 Silverlake has some massive staircases, and there are lots of big drops off weird structures in DTLA.

If you're looking for trails, ride xc in the San Gabes and earn your descents.

 Try the Santa Monica Mountains.

Any local bike shop should be able to provide the MTB Trail / Fire Road map for a few bucks.

 Where in LA do you live? Do you night ride? We've got a crew that rides every Wednesday night in west LA. It's not quite free-ride, but it's usually an athletic uphill to a bitchin, fast, and sometimes technical downhill. Plus, it's a good way to get to know the trails out here....
