101 -> harbor blvd -> wooley rd -> pch

Im going from santa barbara to pacific palisades. thats the best route i have found. anyone have any experience with this trip?

I agree with rbi. Take Harbor Blvd until it curves into Channel Islands Blvd. Stay on Channel Islands Blvd for a couple of miles then turn right on to Ventura Road. That road ends at Hueneme Road, turn left and go towards Hiway 1 - PCH. Just before the highway, there's a frontage road called Naval Air Road. Take that to the end at Los Posas and at that point hop on to Highway 1 to Santa Monica.
