I think there's 7 Ridazz in the Cat 5 race this afternoon at the Ontario Easter Sunday Grand Prix - Gary, Erock, iJunes, Ryan Van Meter, Wylie (Hold Your Line), Brett, and one more which my ROBOTZ addled brain is forgetting.

 it was mostly 4s mitch did the best with 9th overall. brett was somewhere in the teens wylie with 22 gary at 36 or so e rock got 41 i got 44 and ryan was dwidnling somewhere.

super fast rest and our "team" even took the lead in the earlier part. after holding the top 15 the whole race that crash on the final turnout i got spooked and his wheel made contact with my knee.

 I was 57th.

Not a great position. It was a lot of fun, though.

Next time I'll have to bring a water bottle. I was parched at the end.

 So, regarding upgrades... We've all heard about the different race organizers in SoCal especially the CBR races, which are not officially sanctioned by the USCF. To dispell any rumors here's the answer I received from the SCNCA Secretary in charge of Upgrades, Greg Aden:

"Officially per the USA Cycling rule book they do not count but we (SCNCA) have decided we will allow CBR races to count towards a cat 4 upgrade and 20% of the races or points for a 4 to 3 or a 3 to 2 upgrade can be from CBR races. We are going out on a limb with USA Cycling on doing this."

So, in english, from a 5 to 4 just get your 10 races it doesn't matter, after that of the races you compete in CBR races can only count towards 20% of your upgrade, and cannot count towards an upgrade from 2 to 1
