SWARM SCOUT RIDE

We're gonna do a scouting ride for SWARM the PIER on Teuseday Sept 5th. 9pm. Anyone interested in riding along and helping out just show up at the Redline station on the corner of Santa Monica and Vermont at 9pm. thanks.

I modified the route a bit.... we will finalize the route on Tuesday night considering all the hills and traffic issues....

SpiralDemon and I are going to test ride a plan tonite (sunday). Kinda late notice but if anyone is interested let us know...Sexy? Too Tall?
We'll let you know, I guess, what we thought of the re-route.

I rode from UCLA to Beverly Glen. It's not too bad of a climb for a geared bike. I was riding a MTB with road slicks. Anyone from the SFV considering this route back?

Just got back from scouting the ride.....
We had a posse of 5 ridazz along and we attempted to keep a slower pace just to replicate the speed of the ride.
Its smooth sailing once we hit venice blvd. But the route to venice is sometimes difficult to deside upon. I'm thinking just straight down vermont to wilshire and then labrea down to venice. That gives us a lot of room to occupy one whole lane and still have 2 lanes to spare for the other cars at most times on the ride.......
The ride up to the pier along the venice boardwalk is going to be fun.
Thanks to mike bike, bicql, and the rest of the wolfpack!! who came out tonight.

I gotta say I had a nice ride on Tues. It was a trip to see the making ot a new route. Anyhow, I hope ya'll have a good time and you remember to "stop at the stoplights!" I look forward to seeing pictures from the rounabizzel.
