 It was refreshing, to say the least. That was a real party, for sure. Dilla's beats are like hard-hitting punches. The snares hurt. My ears were ringing on the way home.

As mentioned above, the Stones' Throw "Songs in the Key of D" event is at the EchoPlex next Saturday. All of the Beat Junkies will be there.

Editorial: Compared to mid-to-late nineties hiphop, all other music pales. Except for maybe that ill Cuban stuff. If you're offended, then you should do some research and become a hiphop head.
