"if running isn’t your thing, don’t fret. The day also includes the Firecracker Fun Bike Ride, a 20 mile course where you don’t have to worry about dodging traffic at all (!!!). It’s almost entirely flat and at the end of it, you get a t-shirt and a free carbo load meal. It looks as though registration for the ride is free, as well. But don’t hold me to that."

Late registration (after January 26, 2009) is available on active.com thru February 4th. You may also register in person on Sat. Feb 7, 2009 at Chinatown Central Plaza near 940 North Broadway (between 8-9 AM). All participants receive a complimentary Carbo-Load meal.[And a shirt] Come celebrate the Chinese New Year with us; music and entertainment the entire Nite n' Day weekend, free for the whole family!
