 well, I have the space, but I can't drop a whole $100 on it myself. Does anyone between Mar Vista and Bikerowave want to go in on it? We could share custody. If five people put in, that's just $20 a head. Maybe it's a little ambitious, but if we get 10 people to go in, it's just $10 a head.

anything's possible in the Age of Obama, right? who wants to put in?

 If you westsiders don't jump on it, I'd propose a similar deal: I'll put up the $100, but somebody else has to store it - I can't fit it in my garage. If we could store it at the bike oven, I'd do the deal today.

 *Update*

The bike needs to go. It's now living in a friend's underground parking spot. And it needs to stay in the bike community, soooo, if ANYONE WANTS IT, please come get it, free of charge. However, note that the bike needs a bit of work (new tire, reinflated tires) before it can be ridden. Bringing a pickup would be advised. Or....walk it down to the Bikerowave, which is about four blocks away. Comes with large and small propane tanks.

 SPOOK i have not personally met you but i am a prominent westside rida. i will gladly take the BBQ bike and keep it in the family. I'm allready storing 3 bikes including franz's tallbike in pacific palisades.
