PLANNING AND POLICY INTERN
Start Date: Open
Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition (LACBC) is seeking highly motivated individuals for a variety of bicycle infrastructure planning efforts. LACBC is a membership based advocacy organization working to improve the bicycling environment and quality of life in Los Angeles County.
Major tasks include assisting with:
* Implementing Metro and LACBC project developing six non-motorized access plans at transit hubs in Metropolitan Los Angeles serving low-income households.
* Bicycle and pedestrian field audits of six transit hubs throughout Metropolitan Los Angeles
* Developing six Concept Access Plans that details existing conditions and recommendations
* Facilitating and organizing two rounds of six stakeholder meetings for community input
* Writing a final report summarizing existing conditions, recommendations and future improvement.
