Why are there hardly any riders in the eastern suburbs of LA? example montebello commerce Pico rivera rosemead and so on..... lets get together and ride

We did for the Star Wars ride and the Rock en Espaniol ride. Watch out those Montebello cops.

I think the answer, currently, is No.
Make it Happen! The East LA is still some uncharted territory. You just have to watch out for the cops in some of those unincorporated parts of the county. Sheriffs are the worst. Small town cops are worser.

actually i ride to work from downtown la to the city of commerce. and my boyfriend frequently rides from whittier to downtown...... you're right, this route can be quite lonely.... but that stretch of whittier blvd. from east la till it becomes 6th street is always exciting to ride......

we need to make something happen, maybe a taco truck tour of east LA might be cool or something whitier blvd is a great place to ride

Tren Way goes out that way sometimes. Starting in Downtown or El Sereno. We'll probably head out that way again soon. We'll make it known.

Well, when I'm not delivering loads, the terminal I'll be chilling at most of the time is in Montebello off of Maple and Washington.
I've already spotted the Metrolink stations, 24Hr-gyms, and all that other shit I typically use, so I feel fine.

hey there is more and more going on out this way. CICLE came out on a Urban Expedition recently, Tern of the Century was on the SGRT over the weekend and (5fix2) has got it goin' on every week in Whittier. Check out their beach ride this weekend. There is also a new CM starting in Whittier, too.

I live in el sereno and ride the east side all the time. We could put together a killer route through S. Pas, Alhambra, Pasadena and other areas and still keep it close to downtown for the meetup and keep it at a mostly flat under 30 mile Round trip. Many moons ago MR ventured over there and I know Sins and sprockets are no strangers to the east side, But really. Seeing the same route stops more and more often I would love to see a ride go heavily east. Wish I could make the LB to Lucky Baldwin's ride this weekend but a guys gotta work.

so last night i was riding from whittier to downtown via whittier blvd; somewhere in montebello some asshole threw their 711 coffee slush out of their suv at me.
i hate it when that shit happens.
