Bull horn Vs.riser bar

My back is killing me
I have brand new Orgin 8 bull horn bar from city grounds
and tektro bull horn brake levers
but due to my spinal disk protrusion
this bull horn set up is killing me while riding
an suggestions for easy conversion to riser or straight bar plus brakes ??

I just put English style touring bars on my road bike. I'm more upright and comfortable on my commute. Some people say its sacrilege, but I don't give a damn. I'm happy.

I always go to Open Road Bicycles in Pasadena.

But call any shop you want and ask if they have north road bars. Open Road is my favorite though.

You may need a shorter stem.
Otherwise, to see if the English / townie style bars would work for you, you could just flip over your bullhorns so they pointed back, then rotate your brake levers around to point down.
This would be free and take all of about 5 minutes. The aesthetics might not be top notch, but you'd get a sense of whether you liked that riding position.

I am partial to the classic schwinn suburban style handlebars...i have them on my fixie and my gf's mixte. they're very similar to the borfo bars and the linus bars.
the schwinn's are a bit taller but perfect for upright riding.

Hmm all this is a really pain ..
