A woman was taken in for a mental evaluation after she walked into a bike shop wearing only a sweatshirt and panties

LAKE FOREST – A woman wearing only a sweatshirt and underwear was taken into custody after she was seen stuffing items from a bicycle store into her clothes Monday evening, authorities said.
Deputies were called to the store as she continued to grab items, said Lt. Roland Chacon of the Orange County Sheriff's Department. The woman was also asking where her pants were.
Authorities were called to the store along the 21000 block of Bake Parkway at 7:10 p.m. after the woman walked into the store without her pants.
Deputies were able to handcuff the woman and place her in the back of a patrol car, but the woman squirmed in the backseat to move her handcuffed hands in front of her, Chacon said.
Deputies were able to calm her down and she was taken to Saddleback Hospital in Laguna Hills for a psychological evaluation, Chacon said.
The woman's name and age were not immediately available.
