The Dominguez Channel Bike Path was opened a couple years ago and I was riding by Carson and saw it and checked it out. It's the worst bike path I've ever taken ever. Here's the map of it's route.



I've read about the path but never thought about it until yesterday. By the time I rode the path, I've encountered a path full of broken alcohol bottles and needles. Plus most creeks I've seen have smooth sloping hills to the creek or river like the San Gabriel River path, this one has a rocky path so if you're riding your bike southbound on the path and you somehow swerve to the right, the swerve won't be smooth because it's very rocky. I also had a flat tire riding through the broken bottles i could hardly see under the overpass.

I've also read the LA county granted this path with a budget of almost a million and a half dollars. So basically it's a million dollars per mile. Either way, I'm hoping they could expand the path further towards Carson street and far further up north on the dominguez channel. But also clean up the path from glass, needles and nails =((

THAT SUCKS, SEEM THAT MONEY COULD HAVE BEEN ALLOCATED BETTER.

For a million and a half dollars, I was hoping they'd stretch the path to more than 10 miles further north tops.
