Fascist 9-5 keeping me from participating! I'm freaking out that the response from drivers is "it's too one-sided" and not "well, maybe I shouldn't harass cyclists." Someone do a write up on how this goes please.

Comments are brutal on the KPCC blog. This ordinance is going to continue to get a lot of heat.

Yes, they are, but it's a lot of hype, fear-mongering, and speculation by less-than-fully-informed citizens. Not sure why people are compelled to go there.
Don't like the law? If you don't harass cyclists and drive respectfully you've got very little to worry about.
