I say we stay east, start downtown and head east and or south... or even North. I'm tired of Hollywood, Silverlake/Echo and the West.

 then la noche should be a welcome respite from the west end. the route is supposed to go thru some part of east LA and boyle heights. i've never ridden the east side before.

 I rode the route with duckliondog a couple weeks back and the roads are pretty good. A couple grates to the right down Cesar Chavez that could swallow my entire wheel, but we're all aware of those.
