Is this actually going to happen? I don't want to head to Chinatown with my friend and there is nothing going on. How long is the route?

I checked the url that was posted in the beginning of the forum and it says that the bike ride will take place at 8pm. So I am assuming that it is actually going to happen. If anything I am going to be smoking the cops like I did on the Bike LA ride that was earlier this year. It was funny cause they were huffing and puffing like crazy to keep up. I was ridding on my SPECIALIZED HARDROCK. Tonight I am going to be ridding on my SPECIALIZED ALLEZ. So lets see how tonight goes.

I would have been down to meet up with you, but I live in Highland Park, which is closer to Chinatown. Plus I am going to head to Bike Oven and get my friends bike squared away.

I have a feeling that they're not going to post a route to keep it interesting. All I know is that if there are a lot of riders who come out its going to be great and it will be dubbed Chinatown Critical Mass. I just hope that the teenagers don't mess this ride up (e.g., tag and talk shit to the cops).

Everyone, including the youngsters, seemed pretty respectful towards the LAPD at June's LACM. I think it'll be alright...

All I know was that the youngsters were actually behaving, which was surprising to myself. But there are those knuckleheads who do stuff.

My ETA is 7:15-7:30, chrome Raleigh fixie, red tape. I'm just heading to the starting point (951 N. Broadway), to tool around before the ride.
