August 13 is the date to get your art work in for the bike polo show, it could literally be anything from underwear worn to the bloody mallet of choice to lay outs of the fields to tactical moves. Pictures to drawings to actual 3d items. We want everyone to enter the world of Bike polo and find out what all the History/ and method to the sweet madness.
in conjunction we will have a another art night right before the show to make mallets and wheel covers mixed up with our stencilitis series where we bring stencils and make art in that way as well. That night will be wed august 11th 7-9 and then we’ll all catch a 3 dollar movie at the highland park theater. give us an email at info@bikeoven.com to let us know your grand ideas.

Thats cool and all, but will there be pick-up games?..
And if so, is there a good enough space for us to play?
Cuz, most likely, seein as this event falls on a Friday, we'll probably all be in North Hollywood doing our thing. You'll probably just get a tiny amount of polo players to attend. And those will most likely be the ones who still go on rides frequently.
The reality of it is we hardly go anywhere on Fridays or Sundays besides the Noho court.
Now if you had a little tournament going on in your event..you would probably get most of us to attend. Either way, this event sounds pretty cool but i'll probably be playing polo that day and not looking at the artistic end of it.

Friday is just the cut off to hang art the actual show and spoke'n art ride is the 14 of august which is sat. Im doing this foe all la bike polo, it deserves recognition in some way and this is a good way to do it and get it out for others to appreciate it. I think polo elevates biking to a level that is beyond what bikers are known for, it's constructive and fun and high level of takent is needed to play it. Thanks you guys for letting me take pictures. This show is open to anybody but hardly anyone submits anything so I took those for back up only, incase no one submits so barley eye i know we have to do a spoke card show but i would love if you contributed some shots and help design the show. Really every body consider contributing something to represent bike polo in LA.
