Anyone skip weekend work?

I was just wondering how many of the rest of us will skip, call-off, abandon post to go to party ride on the weekend.
While I drove the truck, I usually scheduled my hometime around the weekends, making it easier to do cool things like "CruzwithUs", or any of the other "party-related" rides that popped up.
Now that I'm in my current position for the time being, I feel taking a Saturday off would be like waiting for a miracle to happen.

Anyone else agree on that?

 after this weekend, i called in both saturday and sunday.
