Hey guys,
This Wednesday night there's an **awesome** double feature of Breaking Away & Bottle Rocket at the New Beverly Cinema, 7165 Beverly Blvd, 1 blk west of La Brea.
Jason Reitman, director of Juno & Up In The Air, is presenting it & is gonna be there to introduce the film, & I thought it would be GREAT to have some Ridazz REPRESENT!!
There aren't TOO many bike movies around, so I figured, HEY- why not let the LA Bike Community come out & show our smiling faces & have a rockin' time watchin' some good films while we're at it! I'd plan an actual ride, but I get out of work too late.
The films start at 7:30, but I would get there at 7:00 at the latest. I plan on being there at 6:30. The last time we had a Ridazz/New Beverly event it was TONS of fun...ask anyone who went to The Warriors.

Hey Ariel. Sounds great, I know its Jason's week at the New Bev, and he couldnt of picked em better. Shampoo is tonight. Rudy Ray Moore's 'Disco Godfather' tomorrow for Grindhouse. So what do you propose? A ride to Breaking? Same as Warriors meet with alcohol stops every block? yes yes yes!!!!!!

Dude, I *so* wish I could do that ride...I get OUT of work at 6 & I'm gonna head to the theater right after work...if we wanted to ride from close to my work I guess? But that's like a 10 minute ride!!

ok, that came out totally convoluted...sorry!! What I meant to say was that on WEDNESDAY I would love to ride to the theater with folks! It would look fantastic to have a bunch of us roll up!! But I don't get outta work until 6, & I wanna be there early, etc etc etc

update on tonight- looks like there's going to be another *super* cool special guest for the Bottle Rocket screening, too, but they're keeping that secret so you gotta come to see who it's gonna be!! The one earlier this week was William H. Macy for Boogie Nights & he was REALLY fantastic, so I would definitely recommend coming out for this. Great double feature, cheap concessions...I'll be there in line at about 6:30ish. Meet you there? :)
