Hey,
We're going on air for the first time since we've started. We'll be on kpfk, 90.7fm in Los Angeles at 11 pm on the 29th of December.
We don't know yet what topics we'll cover, but Cyclavia and bicycle politics may be in the mix.
Please contact us with your ideas, events, and news. If you want to be involved, we could use some bicycle news reporters.
any thoughts on Cyclavia? LA bike friendliness? a side topic?

sure, tell them that Mowery says we aren't white enough for change.
tell em that the lives of cyclists are worthless in the eyes of the law even in a hit and run.
tell em that the mayor wants to focus on cars for climate change but not bike infrastructure and advocacy.
get some calls from anti-bike people and let their ranting be an example in themselves.

You know what i would find useful is a hearty debate about the bike plan.
I still haven't pierced that 100mb pdf in any meaningful way.
I'd love to hear a public discussion about how hit and run laws are geared toward cars and how drivers often have an incentive to run from a crash with a cyclist.
I'd love to hear a discussion about the feasibility of a class action suit against the city and the state to demand equal protecion on the road for peds and cyclists.
I'd love to hear about the status of proposed improvements in the CVC to require drivers to pass at a safe distance, to not harass cyclists.
