A fellow cyclist has reported on the Midnight Ridazz forum that he witnessed the victim run a red light right before being hit.

The "victim" of course would be Ilia and I'm wondering if anyone on the ridazz forum actually made that statement and blaming Ilia himself for the tragedy that took his life. What's up with this?

 Thanks for turning me on to the thread. FWIW, Cicle.org took down their "it was the victim's fault" story since the police have charged the h&r driver with gross negligence and vehicular manslaughter.
