I just wanted to extend big thanks to the ridazz who stayed behind and waited with me while I dealt with my crazy leg cramps during Ride-ARC on Irolo north of Olympic:

Without your cookies and impromptu physical therapy I wouldn't have made it back home! I'll get each of you ice cream at Scoops or a beer at Pure Luck, just let me know when!
(The lesson here is that if you're going to push 40 miles in a day, you better make sure you're properly fed and hydrated. I rode to work in the morning and didn't have a proper meal until tacos late at night.)

So you're cabhauler? Good to have met you and no problem man. I've been there too... after the Los Muertos ride last year, which this Ride-Arc reminded me of, my legs cramped up so bad when it ended at Echo Park... I was all alone trying to deal with it. Not a good feeling. I'm glad you're feeling better.

Oh... dang Laharr... nice job with the cookies man. Talk about being prepared. Also, thanks for your help Antonio w/ the GPS. That right on Venice sure threw us off. Thanks man.

D'oh, you get beer or (vegan) Scoops too Kyber.
I feel a bit sore from the cramps, which are tiny tears in the muscles that have to have time to heal. It's not that bad, I went riding the very next day and did some dancing last night.

cures for cramps:
less beer (it dehydrates you), less coffee (also dehydrates you) before a ride
and more hydration before and during the ride
good things on rides to help prevent cramps:
tums, bananas, water...
