Bike polo last night at the Santa Monica Pier kicked major ass. About a dozen people came out and we played a number of intense four-on-four games. I'm still sore in about five different places and some other folks i've talked to are hurting too -- but itching for more.

I called the Mar Vista Park today and the director said we can't play in the roller hockey rink right now because they are making an effort to ramp up the roller derby and there isn't any extra time right now to fit us in. But she said to try back in January. I'm going to send her an email and be in touch to try get on her good side and get her stoked about LA bike polo.

So, unless anyone has any other ideas, we'll continue to play:

Sunday, 4pm at LA High;
Wednesday, 7pm at the Santa Monica Pier parking lot.

Note that we moved Wednesdays up to 7pm, but we'll probably still keep playing until around 11pm.
