RideTime Group ride

Date: 8/1/09
Meet at: Los Angeles State Historic Park
Where: 1245 North Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA
Meet Time: Saturday 7a.m.
RideTime: 7:30a.m.

65 miles: 40 slightly uphill and 25 downhill.

You will need to rehydrate, and refuel so for this ride I recommend the following:

Road bike, helmet, 2 water bottles, enough food to get you through this ride, strong riders. This ride is not for the weak.

I'm jealous that I have to miss this - the missus has me working an inflateable water slide for a yard full of 5 year olds tomorrow. I love the gentle up/fast down routes, but most roadies seek out the steep climbs. Could you send me the route? The linky thing didn't work for me.
