Did anyone of you guys hear anything or see any of the photos from the Grand Prix race downtown on Friday about the run in with the LAPD.


A LAPD officer proceeded in tackeling me during the race for not yielding at a red light and arresting others for pointing out that that was unjust. Photos and maybe video were taken and many witnesses were present from the cycling community.

 I'm afraid of getting tackled by the cops. Because knowing me I will probably freak out and try to wrestle the cop, then proceed to get my black ass beast.

 I was at the race but did not see all the police activity. I did see a guy get hooded by a BMW. He seemed ok, but the organizers did a poor job or corking the intersection on the downhill.

Sucks people got tickets and arrested.

 I think this could/should be a way bigger problem for the LAPD than the Hummer incident.

Tackling a rider off of their bicycle sounds like battery to me (without even the courtesy warning of assault).

The only consolation is the though that Yetiman might be in for a payday.
