Hi Dickhead,
I thought Canada would be the one place in the northern hemisphere that would appreciate cycling and it's positive effects on health, the environment and just plain old community involvement and awareness.... but people like you who say ignorant uneducated garbage like you did represent a step back in progression for mankind. Again, I'm surprised... I thought Canadian culture revolved around people and healthy living. Normally you would find this type of ignorance rampant in the USA but Canada? pfft. Keep driving. I will keep cycling and I will be less inclined to visit your country because of your words. If you die of lung cancer or a heart attack from being fat or from carbon pollution, my heart won't bleed for you. In fact, I will even crack a cynical smile.

Hi Dickhead,
The only problem with with cars and bikes in the same street: one of them is deadly.
When you get killed in a car wreck, it will be your own fault at the end of the day.

Are you serious?
Bicycles are recognized as vehicles that have every right to the road as other vehicles in just about every municipality in the world. In fact many of the most livable cities in the world are the ones who have made conscious efforts to favor bikes in the planning of their transportation infrastructure.
Right now the biggest global powers are spending trillions grappling with the pollution and economic and political insecurity cause by oil dependancy, and here you are in the last bastion of first world progressives, lobbying for a fossil fuel vehicles' place on the road.
Come on man. Your city, your province and your country deserve better.
Another friendly note from an L.A. Cyclist.
