Are you tired of being hassled by drivers who don't think you belong on the road? Wishing there were more nice places to ride your bike in LA? Got that eerie feeling that the transportation planners don't even have bikes on their radar? Brothers and sisters, the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition may be the answer!

LACBC advocates for your rights and safety by working with local governments and educating the public. They are poised to be a useful tool, a powerful force, and even revolutionary voice for cyclists. But YOU must get involved!

JOIN TODAY AND VOTE. If you become a member RIGHT NOW, there is still time to vote in the election for the LACBC Board of Directors. This is a great opportunity to have a say in who's representing you and paving the road for a bike-able LA.

When are they going to post the results? And what do you think of the referendum on the ballot that would have allowed the Board members to be elected by the Board?

I'm working wif some other bike peeps on some other shit. Thanks for the vote though. My statement on the ballot was shitty.

The LACBC sent out the results of the board election:

* Matt Benjamin (used to work for the LACBC)
* Thomas Gotschi
* Aurisha Smolarski-Heims
* Wendell Johnson (Incumbent Board Member)
* Sammy Feuerlicht (Incumbent Board Member)
* Revel Sims

Also the By-Law Amendments Results:

* Allow LACBC Board members to be elected by the Board: NO
* Allow for electronic ballots: YES
