How about if wed all wear Green Shirts with brown hats?
Upon further review of the "Savage Huns" from the movie, not all of the brown hats they wore were pointy. Then we could be the "Savage Huns" from the movie, or the "Green Team", or the "Fighting Irish" since it's so close to St. Patrick's Day.
hey billyb!
i'm not too keen on the brown and green.
Dead kittens on our heads or 'just kidding' t-shirts under coats would be hilarious.
or we could just go as The Thong Terrors?
We also had shower caps and trash bags from the dollar store. the caps are 3 for $1, trash bags are cheap anyway.. the waterguns are 3 for $4 at the toys r us on lacienega and 18th. its on the way to the ride, but closes at 9 i think. i can pick up some waterguns if yall like, i work right there<
who's down to come STRAPPED?!?!
I was actually kidding about the trenchcoat thing, it'd be cool but I don't have one and can't get one or probably even make a just kidding shirt in time.
I'm coming straight from work down the street but I live on the westside so I'm down to show up as a C3, I'll try to grab whatever you guys come up with.
thanks for the squirt guns and the shower cap guys! i think i pissed a couple people who i think are comparable to drivers who get pissed off at the midnight ridazz. haaaa! i squirt yooou more!
Would anyone be interested in a sort of WOLFPACK or CUBPACK IN TRAINING RIDE on the westside? Let's open the discussion for length, course, time, and meeting point!
just to make it clear, it would be a TRAINING RIDE. i don't want people to get left behind because it defeats the purspose of the pack idea, but i also want to be able to eventually build strength and stamina for distance rides.
15-20 miles to begin with? flat routes? slight inclines? tell me what you have in mind!
Now that daylight savings time is in effect, I do this ride a couple times a week:
- Start at Venice Blvd & Inglewood heading toward the beach.
- Hit the Beach Bike Path at Venice and head North, past the pier until the path ends at Will Rogers SB
- Back along the Beach Bike Path to the Washington St. Pier
- Down Washington to Admiralty Park
- Through Admiralty Park
- Around the Marina to the Ballona Creek Bridge (watch the sunset)
- Back down the Ballona Creek Bike Path (Inland) and exit on McConnel Ave.
- Take the Culver City Bike Path back up to Inglewood Blvd.
It's just over 20 miles. I usually leave around 5:30.
i cannot make that time because i'll be working but it shouldn't take us more than an hour to get there.
how about 8:30, leave at 8:45?
(i'm anticipating that bastard in the cubpack forum retorting with 'and BTW, i can't make it this year, but what about 3:14am next friday the 13th because by then i'll have my new fixie ready, my socks will be clean and dry, and i will have finished jerking off.')
I saw someone asking about meeting up with culver city riders for the 'ridazz gone wild ride' tonight, so I'm bringing this one back for those of you in the culver city-west side area.
POST HERE to meet up and ride with those from the WEST SIDE.
it works!
