Accident Spotted

Headed home today in the car and spotted one of those bicycle safety officers down at Santa Monica & Las Palmas. He had a helmet on but looked severly messed up and in fact not moving. Pretty chilling to witness. Looked like a southbound blue PT Cruiser hit him. Cops were on the hand & a fire truck roared past from the east. Kind of ironic to see a cyclist with the words "safety" emblazoned on his back laying there motionless. Hope that guy is ok.

 Hope he's OK, too. I see them around that area, and I'm glad that they patrol - that area isn't so nice, once I talked w/a bike security guy just gettin in touch with the police, as a robbery happened by that 711...
