So me and a buddy are planning a bike ride from coast to coast this coming spring/summer. Problem is that we don't really have a route yet. We've searched on google, yahoo, ask.com, everywhere and all we have really found are paysites for routes.
anyways, we are wondering if anyone out there knows of any decent cycling sites that might have different routes/guides up that would help us...?
Thanks in advance..

I could just ask my sister, she did the ride a couple years ago, went from Oregon to New Hampshire, but as for the southern route, I dunno, you could always figure your own out with like google earth or something, like parallel the 10 all the way or something, although the desert's gonna be rough. Sometimes a long ride like that is not the worst thing to have a support vehicle on.
Bt anyway, reasonably, it'll be about 50-60 days. I think my sister took 52..

You may have already found it in your online searching, but just in case, the Adventure Cycling Association has awesome cycling maps and routes for all sorts of epic cycling journeys.
I used their Pacific Coast Maps for a trek from San Fran to LA back in 2003 and they were indispensable.
