Monthly meeting is this Monday the 6th. Rather than site through their long (boring to most) meeting what I'd like to do is inject some fun into this by having an hour long ride and THEN attending the last portion of the meeting and weighing in on public comments.

We meet at the los feliz / riverside fountain and then ride around the park and bike path completing our ride at the meeting and signing their petitions and having our comments recorded for the record.

I'll still be at work.

I dunno, you run the risk of people saying that you weren't there to hear the whole story, just another bunch of closed minded bicycle riding freaks who just come there to disrupt the august proceedings. Maybe wear a suit and tie if you do that or something...

well, the goal is not to disrupt the meetings but rather to weigh our voices in during the public commentary portion of the proceedings. you actually arent allowed to speak to the panel during the meetings only during public comments... but certainly for anybody that wants to hear them speak I would encourage skipping the ride and sitting in by all means. personally I like hearing what they have to say but I'm the kind of guy who watches c-span. they have a pretty decent rebuttal plan going so far... sadly, the rebuttal plan will be offered for consideration by "others" and blended (most likely) with the city walk plan.
