Omygawd!! I'm so excited. Bike Polo Sarah and I had an amazing idea last night. We both like to bake. Theres plenty of people who do so. Why not meet up and share recipes? Bake for each other! Don't know how to bake/cook? We'll teach each other!
Vegan, Raw, Glutten free, ect. recipes and attempts are VERY WELCOME!
Because I want to learn. Dont you?
IMAGINE!
Lemon bars. peach cobbler. chocolate mousse, pumpkin pie, Yorkshire sticky, ect!!
Its all endless pleasure. NOM NOM!

this sounds pretty awesome, but if its the official craft club, it would be westside. if not westside, then not the official craft club. its too confusing to others if we move it around the place bc we don't post it anymore

i think nicole and erin were discussing creating an eastside craft club to happen on the mondays that the westside craft club doesn't fall on. i think thats a great idea, so if we choose, we can do both!
i think that would be a great option to discuss with them though. baking = awesome.

Sarah, Krista and I were putting our heads together looking for a kitchen. But FUCK YEAH Nicole and Erin!! We shall all have a meeting and bring cup cakes. And discuss locations. time. Days. Whatever is most convenient.

Would people like to do this on a Monday or would anyone like to play with the other days of the week. Like Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday? And around what time is nom nom time? 7:00 p.m.?

I'm so in. My kitchen is always available, as long as you guys are willing to come out here (Sepulveda/Ventura). I like the idea of alternate Mondays from Craft Club, I also like Wednesday nights. Anyone else?

If no one opposes. Of course not the day Craft club meets up.
Would the west siders go to Noho? Would anyone else? I am totally for Noho. I mean Krista's awesome. And if we dont end super late the red line is always there.

Mondays would totally work, once we get th Ridazz bus going (Bus Ridazz meetings are on Monday). NoHo rulez for me, it's a fun ride from Glassell Park (my hood).

I just want to echo and elaborate on Sheli's remarks.
CRAFT CRAFT CRAFT CLUB is really Nicki and Sheli's baby. If you're going to have an event, and use the same or similar branding, it would be polite to ask both of them for their blessing first. If you haven't spoken with b>Nicki yet, then making plans like this is, in my opinion, bad form.

Directed to anyone who is concerned.
I again apologize and I hope people still arent thinking this is a craft club extension (I pointed out in a previous post) If I could change the forum name I would. I dont want it to clash on the days of Craft club as well. Furthermore I would love for (you guise) Sheli and Nicki to come. Theyr'e awesome. I mean baking Nom Nom. And it doesnt necessarily have to be a monday. But I need feedback. It's not set in stone yet Lets brain storm.

I just chose the days that work best for me. I didn't really think of this as an official Craft Club thing, more like a complementary thing.

I messeged both Nicki and Sheli personally apologizing. I didnt originally invisioned for it to be an extension of CCCC. I was just so excited about the idea, I hastily used CC on the thread name because I thought it would catch the attention of people who are generally interested in being creative, be it crafts or baking. I should have been more informed and had consideration.
But that being said. Let us not conflict with the day that Craft Club is on. And Lets get to thinking of a name. :D
Let the bakees of MR bring their heads together for a brain storm on the interwebz.

my house is open as well. its right next to subway. i have a pretty dedicated kitchen space, when kept relatively clean, and you're more than welcome to leave any and all traces of food products at my house where it will then be consumed by umm iono.... bike jesus.
