Anybody have experience dealing with dogs that are not leashed up and are running after you while riding?
Any advise on how to deal with the dog? The owner? Besides using "Halt".
Constructive advise appreciated. :)

Hi Melissa!
I actually love it when dogs chase me. I start barking and howling ARROOOOooooo
But if they aren't quite the "happy" dog then barking at them isn't a great idea. Squirting my waterbottle at them has worked wonders :D

If Kujo is after you,
1. Stop and get behind your bike
2. Pick up your bike.
3. Charge the dog and yell "Go Home".
4. Do this until the dog gets the message and turns around.
5. Walk away until far enough to start riding again.
I guess in simpler terms. Just show the dog that you aren't going to take any b.s.

do what I did when I was in 2nd grade and a dog was chasing me.
ride faster and faster down a steep hill while looking back to see the dog biting at your ankle, then crash into a truck and get rushed to the hospital where you'll receive 16 stitches on your eye.

Speed up or slow down abruptly. Once dogs are running beside you they can't adjust that quickly to a sudden change. Also spray them with your waterbottle.
Long, long time ago when dinosaurs roamed the earth, we used to hit them with the air pumps. The pumps use to be under the top tube or on the seat tube and were long enough to inflict pain.
