My roommate and I had heard about the Midnight Ridazz and decided that New York needed something similar a fun excuse to ride our bikes in a group and generally have a good time.

That's cool that u guys are doing the rides too now. I was over there this past July and i swore i saw something that looked like Midnight Ridazz. But it was not at night time, it was at about 6pm or so. Everyone met up at this park (in lower manhattan) and there was lots of cops there too (to escort?). i dunno what was going on, but it seemed like hundreds of bike riders were mobbing the streets. i thought it looked super fun. too bad i didnt have my bike with me.

New York was doing what they called the Moonlight Rides way before you Echo Park, non affording gears on bike, thrift store wearing, too cool to even come out anymore, non-Hamburger eating, Hipster, even thought about Midnight Ridazz

I'm working on making that part of it easier. but for now you can also just click "edit my rides" and change the time. you can also add a new flyer.... but ya all that html garbage is ridiculous. it will be simpler soooon! did you guys get in touch with Skull? I would love for you guys to meet her. She's the heart and soul of the vibe we have going....

its my roommate oksana who has been in email contact so possibly? I've been working and going to class 24/7 for the past week so I haven't really had a chance to talk to Oksana. I imagine she would have though.

Ride on. She was attempting to hit the Critical Mass out there tonight I think.... How does that go down? I've heard that the cops kill it when it happens....

I don't ride manhattan critical mass ever. It always gets busted up and just isn't worth it to me. Brooklyn can be a nice ride but isn't exactly fun.

it should be as fast as if Lance never doped....so like delivery guy speed

I am not sure of the pace it isn't going to be a slow ride but we are not gonna leave anyone behind either. If everybody can ride fast it will be a fast ride. If not everyone can it'll be slower.

I am afraid that what you saw in July was a Memorial Ride for our fallen fellow cyclists: Bronx Jon and Darren Lewis. We did indeed stop at Washington Square Park, which was Jon's favourite hang-out place.
