I feel you. I commute everywhere I go and I feel like a douche wearing my Bailey Works messenger bag. The bag is great it does its job, but I can’t help feeling like a poser. Maybe it’s all in the name, they should call them commuter bags instead of a messenger bags, I don’t know. Don’t feel that way though, it serves its function.

people that get worked up over a fucking bag take themselves way too seriously.

LOL fuck all y'all. I guess I just felt like a poser since: A) I don't ride a fixie and B: I've never been a messenger. LOL but I took it out for a ride today and got over it. damn thing is pretty useful.

the messenger name is misleading but for ridazz that type of bag works best. ive riden with "commuter" bags and they end up bouncing all over the place...so fuck it

My employer offered to pop for my commuter/messenger bag, so all I need to do is pick one out...that isn't chrome.

yeah fuck it Don! I rock a Timbuktoo, along with droves of fools who don't even own a bike. to hell with the name game, the only way to really get out of it is to make your own.
I wish I would have noticed your new bag yesterday at WP, I would have fondled it. Mmmm...

It probably doesn't keep it cold but it will hold about a case and a half.

I've never been nor do I aspire to be a courier and I don't ride a fixie. I do ride about 30-60 miles a week and I'm trying to ride even more. The Chrome bag is just another way to make cycling more practical and comfortable. It's bulletproof and the strap works really well.
I have had reservations about my Chrome bag for sure. But I've gotten over it. Call me a poseur, I don't care. I'm just glad to be able to carry my stuff comfortably. We all want people to pedal more and if some cool bag is going to help then so be it.
I've thought about using saddlebags or panniers but these have their drawbacks for city riding. They are far more expensive, affect the handling of the bike more, can't be moved between bikes, can't be taken inside easily when you make a stop.

I've been rocking that Jansport backpack from Jr. High for all my rides and it's really starting to kill my right shoulder which i've previously had surgery on. I decided to splurge and purchase a Chrome Bag. Everyone I see with one, has one that goes over their left shoulder, so i figured it would be perfect to get the weight off my right shoulder. I found a good deal on ebay and went ahead and purchased it. Well it arrived over the weekend and I come to find out that they do have some that go over your right shoulder and i happened to get one of these.
I have absolutely no use for this bag now since the point was to get the weight off my right shoulder. I just thought i'd see if anyone is interested in purchasing it or trading for one that goes over the left shoulder. It looks brand new. If you're interested, shoot me an email. The addy is in the profile.
