rainy weather fixed riding?

ok with winter weather approaching, I'd like to ask for any advice about riding fixed in the rain. I'm starting to think about getting a wet weather rig together for commuting (fenders, etc) in the winter. I've been riding fixed for nearly a year now, and I'm fairly confident and I rarely use my brake. Any opinions on riding fixed in the rain? Or should I go the freewheel w/ two brakes route?

 mostly because i crash around a lot I might opt for a second cheap beater bike with both brakes and possibly a freewheel. I might not junk up your current fixed with fenders and all. I ride in the rain as often as I can and love it.
