Ashira Katie Siegel says a cyclist was killed at Santa Monica and Vine a few minutes ago.. anyone have any more info??

I had a cold chill run down my body reading Ashira's name at first glance.
I think those "waves" are still there going Eastbound..I've almost fallen a few times going past them...Hope those weren't to blame for it.

No report of an ambulance sent 2 SM/Vine, cyclist fatality not confirmed.
Sorry I confused people by posting Ashira's name at the beginning. She was the one who first posted the question.

I think we have to be careful about posting these things and about READING them, as well. Rumors can get started really easily & can be potentially damaging/worrisome. I'm actually wondering if the tweet came from the OG post? How long after Borfo's post was that tweet? We *need* these posts as they inform/help/energize us but we have to be very vigilant & responsible about the way that we consume them, also. Just a thought.

I spoke to someone who said their coworker saw the aftermath of the crash. From what she said, the white sheet was not covering a dead body but actually was being used to cover the person while they changed their clothes (her words not mine). I don't know i wasn't there, but according to the witness, the cyclist was okay and was moving around just fine. In any case, it sounds like it is a false alarm. LAFD has no reports of an ambulance being sent to the scene so my guess is this report is a bit more accurate.

it sounded very official/ specific.

i passed this yesterday and saw the guy laying in the road with only one fire car there and his bike was being pulled off of him.it was a purple mountain bike,no spoke cards,with a tacoed back rim.it looked as if he was hit from behind.i saw gause pads on his face but no body bags.he wasnt moving at all.i dont think the waves caused it.
