Scooter/Moped Question

Hey, it's still on two wheels, so I thought someone could help me out.
Just recently got my scooter back from my brother, but it needs a tune up - I don't trust it to ride far distances yet. Doesn't anyone know a reliable, local mechanic, or if you are one, would you be willing to come and take a look at it? I don't even know how much I can expect to be charged for a regular tune up, so any info you can provide would be appreciated.
She's a late 90s, early 2000s (?), Honda Elite 80cc (Remember, "Gleaming the Cube"? Christian Slater's Korean brother? It's the same scooter that he rides...)
Thanks in advance!

I don't know where you are at but I know of a guy in the Valley. He's about to take my motorcycle to do some work and a tune up. I found him on my motorcycle forum socalsvriders.org. Everyone there has nothing but great things to say about him. He also does custom fabrication. His screename on that site is racinteach.
here are some testimonials

there is a great guy who runs a shop called -
CHOKE MOTORCYCLE SHOP-
chokemotorcycleshop.com
just off Virgil, south of Santa Monica Blvd at --->
4157 Normal Ave, LA, CA 90029
he (and his crew!) specialize in moped and scooters.
he got my old yellow honda express running no sweat.
speaking of which, does anyone out there want to buy her?
here is a pic.
she is technically a "motorized bicycle" and therefore requires no special license. She is fun as all hell to ride.
