this is a weird thread.
i have terrible allergies, so i don't know if it's because of that and our terrible air quality, but do any of you guys get runny noses while you bike sometimes? i have to usually carry a pack of tissues to blow my nose at times. it makes me feel strange and sickly, hahaha.

yeah my nose runs.
I have to carry a snot rag on WP. my nose is like a freakin fountain on that ride. its pretty gross.

Yeah, a runny nose is normal while riding. That's why I carry a bandana or handkerchief.

i think terrible individuals suck, regardless of skin color. we all bleed red, you know. better to be united than divided.
i'm glad i'm not alone with having a runny nose! i too carry a snot rag for when i run out of tissues! it's one of those little facewashing towels. i've always felt gross pulling it out and using it at intersections, but fuck it... you gotta do what you gotta do.

hahaha, i've always felt like people in cars are staring at me wondering why i'm blowing my nose so much! they probably never see me after one intersection though! ah, so sad. how self conscious.

hahaha, i have to carry two small hand towels. one for snot and one for wiping sweat. something about my mucus rubbing allover my face bothers me. i wash my hands alot, hahaha. possibly OCD? who knows. i just know i don't like germs. even my own.

Me, not so much the runny-nose, but it's more of like my eyes getting watery.
No matter what time of the year it is, I'm always wiping my eyes to ward off anyone from saying, "Aw, why are you sooooo sad?"

haha, i'm a clean person. i like that, hahaha. i'm tough in other aspects. i totally have always felt like a germaphobe,

I only get the watery eyes on fast downhills. That is the BEST when you make it to the bottom of a killer downhill and your face is just covered in tears. I fucking love that.

definitely had the watery-est eyes of my life on a wolfpack ride. god I remember that downhill I seriously thought I was going to die I had never gone that fast on a bike in my life. I probably would have died if I had had gears! shit

I just remember getting to the stoplight and my face was COVERED in tears had to wipe my face with my sleeves.the tears were just STREAMING out. my adrenaline is pumping just thinking about it!
I don't get dropped on downhills. lol

nice! i dream of climbing to the observatory. i love to mash on a downhill and get watery eyes! when you're going as fast as a car or faster than the speed limit, and you're on you're bike... it just feels amazing.

I always get the best boogers after a good ride, too.
Nice big ones you know the kind that feel really good to pull out and the kind you GOT to put in a tissue cuz its too nasty to wipe underneath the couch.

I rode in the snow while going through the streets of Salt Lake City back in '07.
The flurries were getting past my glasses and sticking to my face, so I stopped at a "Smiths" grocery/general goods store and bought a balaclava and some safety-goggles.
I felt protected after that.
Hey, if I get home tomorrow, I'm sooo going to ride through the snow that's up there.
This is the first time in two years that the desert has been hit with 14"!!!

i so wanna ride in the snow, then i would touch my snot. i'd throw it at people, ahahahahaha.
i've recently cut down my consumption! i'm so proud of myself. i used to be a daily smoker for years. it's good to clear my head sometimes. my new year's resolution is to completely cut off alcohol and tobacco. i like my organs. herb though, i think i'm irie for life.

oh definitely that's what I'm talking about coldcut, long hard NIGHT time bike ride in cold weather. Then a hot shower ....yeeeeeessssss.
The only sucky part is the standing up. I know I could take a bath, but I like the 'massage' feeling you get in a shower. I need a chair. a shower chair.
