RIDE LEADERS and SWEEPS NEEDED

C.I.C.L.E. is looking to train ride leaders and sweeps in the fine art of traffic legal group rides for their Bikes in the City: Urban Expeditions series of encouragement rides that will take place in North East LA and San Gabriel Valley areas

Bikes in the City: Urban Expeditions, is a new series of monthly encouragement rides aimed at getting people, their friends and families out of their cars and onto their bikes for a cleaner, greener and ultimately friendlier city.

Leaders and sweeps are not expected to attend all 12 rides, but are asked to commit to at least four in the year.

The first ride is our annual toy drive which takes place on Dec. 1st, 2008 and kicks off at 10:30 AM at REI in Arcadia

The Toys and Mittens Ride benefits the wonderful work of Hathaway Sycamore Family Services which gives out toys, warm gloves, hats, and socks to families and children in need.

If you are interested in volunteering in any capacity please let us know, we sure could use the help.
