That was fun! My new friend, Bruce, and I bailed out at Alvera St. and had some taquitos...when we heard all you guys rolling by. Too funny! Then we took Union Station Redline back to NoHo.

Yeah, there were cops with us most most of the way, they weren't tripping to hard, but they were constantly there. Too bad I have to work in the morning, or else I would still be riding , and doing the marathon.

Fun ride! Worth all the wait. I think I caught a couple of STDs swimming in the fountain in Los Feliz. Great job Louis, The Dude, J-ro, and others for keeping everyone in check.

the greatest part of the glow ride was from 8pm till 230 am.
and passing tangs at 2 somethin just to ride to olvera st. to meet up with TT and the MOMz just to roll back to tangs rounded out the ride beautifully!

i feel bad for chynna, her ride is scheduled for the 17th of april and she always leads incredible rides. i hate to say it but there's no room for monthly rides anymore without scheduling conflict :[ WE ARE COMING TO A TIME WHEN WE MUST CHOOSE WHICH AWESOME RIDE TO ATTEND ON WEEKENDS
which may not be a bad thing....... but then all the cool people wont be on the same rides :[

also, louis -- you should condense all the ride postings into one, where all the meetup points are detailed in one posting. kind of like how critical mass does it. the way it is all other rides get drowned out, cluttering the space and taking attention away from other rides

Excellent Idea! I think if they numbered all the "Rides to CM" at the bottom of one CM ride post it would make the ride calender look much better and it would also not take space away from other posted rides.
But that is really up to the website moderators to enforce.

Good times were had. Great people. Ended up staying for the Marathon Ride, but left at mile 17 since some of the roads weren't completely closed.

Hopefully someone takes this suggestion seriously. I really hate it when were on rides and stop at the large corporate grocery stores for some snacks beer and chow. They obviously don't want rider business cuz they keep locking the doors on us! Id rather support smaller places that can use the money and appreciate our business. Just sayin. GLOW RIDE RAWKZ!

That's a good point! It would be nice to know that in some small way, our business will impact real people instead of a corporation.

not really being abile to have a huge glow ride because of hills and major groups spread all over the west side glowing lost without the leader ...no fun
all in all though awsome get togethere it was a blast while it lasted

Really? I thought the ride continued to downtown after Venice. We skipped out after Venice and our odometer read 24.7 miles when we got back to CM Park.

hey guys, thanks to whoever created the glow ride and the route.
it was one of the most FUN routes i've ever had in west LA. It felt like we were just going downhill for most of the ride, it was a thrill, a rollercoaster, and the theme of having lights/glowey stuff on your bike is a hit!
I was one of the bikes that had a bunch of blue-string-lights (like blue christmas lights) on a hybrid bike. I was really happy I had not taken my fixie out that night cause of all the intense downhills, my legs would not have been comfortable with the gearing i have, haha...
ANYWAY... THANK YOU AGAIN... the ride was superb, well organized too, i appreciate it.

Hey louis! I usually bring my own glow shit tube of necklaces and blinkies for the ride and give away all of what I don't use! If yu need help with the glowsticks, I'm cool with kicking it down with a tube of 100 necklaces. B ut I usually get the good kind! Let me know. Might even considering selling the stuff at cost to riders that wanna pitch in. Like 4 necklaces for a dollar or so. Just an idea!
