After literally years--years!--of hype, if this movie doesn't leave me on the floor gasping for air, I'm going to go back up to San Francisco and start kicking people in the nuts. At random.

I'm in. I don't know how hard you ride but I'd like to know if something is planned.

The start of the ride has to be fast enough to get us to the theater from Echo Park (@ THE PADDLE BOATS- by the way!) in time for the movie! But, I'd imagine after sitting and watching a bunch of bikers ride the hell out of SF, for any length of time, we'll be squirming in our seats to get out and ride our bikes like we mean it!! I'd hate for the group to get split up too bad, but if we can agree that the fast group sticks together and and the "less fast" group sticks together we should be ok! yah?

or when tickets will be available to be bought? Is it just right before doors open or can i roll over there earlier in the day and pick some up?

meeting point is probably echo park lake where the race is, right? that's what i would assume.

If you're racing, the meeting point is at the 7-11 at Vermont and Franklin at 6:30 for registration. You'll be racing down from Griffith Observatory on your fixed gear bike (because those are the only kinds allowed in this race) and it was really nice knowing you, and can I have your stuff?
If you're not racing, the meeting point is at the paddle boats on the east side of the lake at 7:45.

Fun night! Let's hear it for the DTLA heckle crew. What the hell was Jack yelling the whole time?
Anybody go to/stick around for the second showing? How did that one go?

I actually really liked the movie (San Franciscans, your nuts are safe). As several people pointed out, though, it was a total sausagefest. Are there no women in SF with fixed gear street skills?
