My bike's too big!

Hi. I am building a fixie (my first), but the frame is 62cm. I am 5'9". I have to tippy toe a little bit to get my crotch over the top bar.

Am I going to die trying to ride it? Are there any other shorties out there riding big bikes? Thanks

DOOD thats way too big..a 62 is for some one like 6'4 and taller..

when looking for a frame the standard size for some one 5'9 is 53' 54' or 55' depending on the make..

My 62 cm fixie is badass because the 700cm wheel in front can barspin 'cuz the frame is so big!

top tube vs. crotch is one thing - you've also got to consider your riding position. a bike that big might just be plain uncomfortable for you after a couple miles.
