man tries to shoot cyclist, only gets 120 days in prison.

If it was the other way around, it would've probably been 25-to-life.
Lets cross our fingers that the shooter develops an inoperable tumor.

Popular perception is that everyone in a uniform is a "Hero"...I really hate that...the vast majority serves for the right reasons...but nut jobs abound as well

it seems like in this country, people in positions of power are held less accountable for their actions. when it really should be the other way around.

yeah wak!! he got off because military service n his firefighting job,,,he tried to take a life away...that judge should be fired.

All nutjobs regardless of past employment or service history need to be castrated evenly.
If they could send a doctor who blew hundreds of thousands of dollars on an education he'll no longer be able to use(see Mandeville Canyon incident), then a blue-collar should be no hard task at all.

I have no faith in the system. Fuck the police. Especially judges who sit on their fat asses handing out sentences. What have they done in their lifetime that makes them able to judge another human being. Fuck the system..

That could also backfire for them if the proper criteria for "impersonation" was considered "not met" by a higher judge.
If we stick to generic equipment and no actual identification used by existing police forces, we should be in the clear.
In this case, if a typical LEO is too ignorant or too much of jackass to tell the difference between the equipment/uniforms THEY currently use and that of equipment that is either used in different countries or got phased out decades ago, then it is THEY who need to be confined to the hell that is a desk.
