One of the Zoobomb vids shot from my camera.
Powerful little thing, but I'm going to need to build myself a sort of handlebar tripod to ease off on the shakiness.
I thought up a solution to filming and rough-riding while running in the gym tonight.
A hard shell helmet, craft-store diecut foam, hot glue, and velcro.
Essentially, I'll cut the foam-block to fit the camera into.
Once I manage to get it to function inside the block, I attach velcro straps to the tough foam "block-cam-tainer" and the helmet.
Voila!! A helmet-cam with an already present camera and 40-50
bucks worth of off-shelf material.
The velcro straps should enable the camera to detach in a crash, with the foam block protecting the camera moderately.
Let's hope that never occurs though.
