my saddle keeps wearing holes through my jeans on my butt and gooch.

iron on patches keep falling off.

what to do?

is there some sort of denim glue thats hardier than the adhesive on those patches?

 are you ironing the patches on the inside of your jeans or the outside? also, how frequently are you washing said jeans once the patch is ironed on. is it just ironed or do you also follow the outline of it with some dental floss or other type of thread?

you know how around ur crotch where it makes contact with the saddle it starts to get really thin, ill wash the jeans, slap a patch on there, and iron. i mean it stays on for a good while TILL i wash them. after i wash, one or more of the corners start peeling off.

i wanna avoid having to sew bc i dont have access to a sewing machine, plus, i dont know how to sew. it just looks like shit when im done.

i saw this thing online called jean mender. some sort of liquid but ive never used it before.

like an idiot ive tried using super glue but it like smokes and gets all gnarly.

im just avoiding having to buy new jeans. idk, these fuckers are comfy and i wanna keep em.

 you don't need a sewing machine... just a needle and thread... it's pretty fool-proof... knot it to start... sew the patch on, and knot it at the end.

 iron the patch on the inside of your jeans and then never wash them. if they smell then spray some febreeze on them. if you have to wash them, then take a sewing needle and use dental floss as thread.
you dont need a sewing machine to do this. hell, if you give me some beer or something ill probably do it for you, or teach you how. sewing patches on my backpack in junior high and high school taught me how to do simple things like this without a machine. the floss doesnt tangle like normal thread does, and you can melt the waxy outside of the floss to other parts of the floss to secure it, if that makes sense.

 Learn to sew by hand. Dental floss is super strong and would last. I have to sew up cloths all the time, especially my gloves since i like to fall.

 There are a number of companies that make jeans for motorcyclists that have kevlar in the ass area to provide more abrasion resistance in the event of a crash. I doubt you could get proper tight 'hollywood' fit, though. Worth looking online, I guess. Maybe they make something similar for hipster skaters?

Personally, I can't imagine riding in jeans enough to thin them out like that, so I'm not really much help. There's nothing quite like a big, bulky seam running right up the center of my crotch to make for all day comfort. Ouch!

 Just ride out of saddle and your hooha should forgive you!

I wear thick stretch jeans and they treat me right. Once you start patching the whole jean is compromised and the slightest abuse is magnified.
