Watch Over Drive
An anime series with road biking central to the plot. It's about a teenage boy with no self esteem who falls for a girl who is the sister of the school cycling club. She recruits him to the club, and he progresses from barely able to hold upright on a bike, to a prodigy of speed, with eventual aspirations for the Tour De France. Hilarious and inspiring to watch, especially with a group of fellow cyclists. If you like animation and bicycles you must feel the magic of Over Drive!

I found a
website with high rez downloads of episodes, and you tube links, as well as covering the show up to episode 23. After watching some of the Cycling Club's first big race since Shinozaki (main character) joined, I felt really pumped up about biking.
So I took advantage of a break in the weather to ride as hard as I could to Marina Del Rey and back before rain started again. Drops started falling on my way back, but the wind blowing the storm toward me was blowing the same direction as home, so I beat the rain about 3 minutes before it started pouring at my house. Ah, the joys of racing cars down Lincoln Blvd.

yeah...apparently there are only 24 episodes.......but i do hope they comeback with more..........all 24 are now subbed.........don't know where to get the manga though.

I think I have post seasonal depression.
Have to wait till August or something for new episodes.
At least I can ride my bike......and watch The Wire.

I finished episode 12 last night.. and then proceeded to download 13 from that other site... but it takes FOREVER. Whyyyyyy? WHYYY??? I need my fix!

Don't fret, I have really fast internet at home, and with the downloads I set up last night, I now have the entire series all the way to the last episode animated (ep 26), in full rez. I'm going to convert them into mp2 and make them into a playable dvd soon with each episode as a chapter. I'll bring a couple copies to the ALC fund raising meeting.

I know a site where all 26 eps are available for download for free, its a torrent site. ill post it here once i look up the name. This is one of my fav animes. XD
