In 2008 we will be doing a series of Mini bike events much like our soapbox races. Sign ups can start at any time and will continue throughout the season. We will be doing 6 main events with a couple special events during the race season. The main events will be taking place every other month on the First Sunday of each month.
These rules are subject to change.
FEB 3RD. Parking Structure Race!!!
First Race:
Fed 3rd. Parking Structure Race. We meet at the Starbucks on Plummer between Corbin & Tampa, the address is 19500 Plummer #F4 between 6-7 AM. We will leave for the course at 7 AM Sharp. We will be parking west of Corbin on a street called Dearborne that is south of Plummer.
The race.
Riders will have to race along a driveway, then up a parking structure to a cone at the top. Racers must go around the cone and then back down to the start. Once at the start, you'll have to go around a cone placed there. We will be doing two laps in this fashion, the first rider to pass the start cone a second time will be the winner.
The Course:
This parking structure is made of concrete, the ramp to ascend is located in the center with upwards traffic going to the right and downwards traffic going to the left. The structure is located on 19808 Prairie, west of Corbin. The structure is 5 stories tall, it should be free of cars on a Sunday.
