one of Our very own, enjoyed his day at the LA Marathon, by asking a representative/employee of Universal City
"why is NBC/Universal blocking the LA River bikepath, through Universal City?" Over and over and over again!
I don't recognize that voice either but must be someone excited about getting that bike path made. also he must be on a latter or maybe a tall bike or something because he is looking way over everyones head.
The calmness comes from a complete utter disdain for the commercial media and the massive amounts of garbage they put out that serve to obscure precious nuggets of useful information. if you get angry then fuck it get angry! you should be angry! NBC UNIVERSAL (and CBS and Warner Bros. for that matter) is using it's big money corporate muscle to block something completely useful.
I would encourage EVERYONE to excercise your free speech right to interrupt any in progress interview or idely standing NBC news reporter to answer this question film it and put it on youtube. You can likely find them at any entertainment or sporting event. In fact I will personally buy you a BEER at Pure Luck if you do. If the reporter is talking about traffic specifically you get 3 beers on me.
I'm committed to this wherever and whenever I get the opportunity. However for the sake of good taste and fairness I will NOT interrupt a reporter who is in the progress of reporting on "real actual news." Example would be police or fire emergency or tragedy.
I hereby promise to always refer to the reporter as "Kent Shockman" no matter they be male or female . I encourage you to use the same name or make up something "newsier." have fun!
Don't know if any of you saw that Mc Donald's had a vendor spot at the marathon ending zone. They had Ronald talking to the kids and Eric started yelling"Hey Ronald, you make kids fat" over and over.
You should have seen the look on people's faces. They were so uncomfortable.
It was more of a "cant believe he's talking to Ronald like that" face than a concerned agreeable face expression.
Oh well , I guess Ronald can still convince that Archs are still a good food choice after a 26 mile marathon(cause of the toys).
Any of you fall for those "Activate" vitamin water drinks?Damm, I did.
wow. THAT is inspiring. film this shit and post it...
my friend Kemst brought up a good point. he said "When you're calm you're credible."
Try to remain calm if you can. If THEY are the ones who get irate it's all the better. these are real people issues that big money doesnt put first and they deserve a lashing for it. they should be providing for people in order to earn a good name brand not harming our health or carpet bombing us with false promises.
I've been training with Happy Meals for two months now. What I do 3 days before ride day is double up on the meals to give me that edge. It's like money in da bank!
there is no way that they should be able to steer the bike path through their private property. that's BS. LA has an easement all the way down the river. very easy to prove, the path already exists. the path should be open 24hours for use s the rest of the river is or will be.
got n email reply from the office of Tom LaBonge stating that he strongly supports a bike path at NBC Universal by the river and to contact his scheduling assistant regarding any bike ride that's happening.
I was thinking, fuck making a bunch of scripts we could just make one big giant Borfo size script and throw it over with a big typed out cycnical title on it... lets schedule a ride so Tom LaBonge can attend as well??
